15 Savile Street, Hull

NT3 Commercial helped locally based specialist rugby and sports kit retailer, JM Sports, with a move to new retail premises from their former home on Alfred Gelder Street.  The move to Savile Street brings JM Sports onto a high profile City Centre street, which is now providing home to not only JM Sports, but also HKR retail store and Hull FC retail outlet.

Prior to the 2007/2008 economic difficulties, Savile Street was a successful and busy retail street, particularly known for an eclectic mix of independent retailers.  In recent terms, however, small retail units on Savile Street have fallen vacant.

NT3 Commercial was initially asked to deal with the Bolo premises, having worked initially on the letting to Hull FC in 2011.  Following the successful move by Bolo – the high profile independent fashion retailer – to Princes Quay or the Christmas period, NT3 quickly managed to secure Hull Kingston Rovers as an adjacent retail outlet to Hull FC.  Hull Kingston Rovers took the ground floor retail unit together with the upper floors to provide not only retail outlet, but also a memorabilia display and interactive section for supporters.

Jacqui Trott at NT3 said “ As soon as JM Sports saw 15 Savile Street property, together with its near neighbours, they decided it was ideal for their needs.  A relatively simple transaction ensued, with the letting secured in quick time to allow JM Sports to maintain a strong retail presence coming into the Spring season”.

NT3 have been retained to deal with JM Sports former property at 107 Alfred Gelder Street – which has already gone Under Offer.

"Having dealt with NT3 over many years , I have always found buying and selling commercial property from them extremely easy, and very professional at all times"
